School Lunches
We are very fortunate to have our own excellent kitchen at the school, which provides the children with a choice of meals every day.
If your child would like to have school lunches, please visit the School Office, who will also be able to help if your child has any special dietary requirements.
Lunches are provided free of charge to all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and are currently priced at £2.80 per day for Key Stage 2 pupils. This is paid online via Arbor.
Menu details including allergen menus are available from Twelve15.
If your child wishes to change from packed lunch to school dinners or from school dinners to packed lunch, the office requires one full weeks notice. Please note any change will not take place until the following Monday after the notice period.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits or tax credits, your child may trigger substantial additional funding, known as Pupil Premium (PP), and may also be entitled to free school meals (FSM) in KS2 (Years 3-6).
Primary schools in England now offer a free lunch to every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. However, if the school is to receive Pupil Premium funding for those children who would previously have qualified for Free School Meals, we still need parents to complete a form.
We ask that you help us by completing and returning the Pupil Premium forms to ensure the school receives these funds.
In order for the school to access Pupil Premium funding, an application for free school meals must be made by the parent/carer. Even if the child prefers to bring packed lunches rather than receive a school lunch, it is still vitally important to the school that an application for free school meals is made.
You can access the form here for Years R-2 and Years 3-6, or please contact Mrs Adams.
